Turn off your HVAC System at the thermostat to allow the coil to thaw
Change the HVAC System air filter as dirty filters are a common cause of coil freezing
Check HVAC System airflow by verifying all registers are open and unobstructed
Allow the HVAC System coil to thaw completely this may take several hours
Call for HVAC System service if coils freeze again after thawing and addressing airflow
