Follow these emergency steps in order. If at any point you feel unsafe, evacuate and call for help immediately.

Safety First

If you smell gas, suspect carbon monoxide, or see sparks, evacuate immediately and call 911. Do not attempt to operate your system if you suspect a safety issue.

Evacuate everyone from the building immediately if your CO alarm sounds

Call 911 from outside the building do not re-enter for any reason

Do not attempt to turn off or investigate the HVAC System yourself

Seek medical attention if anyone is experiencing CO poisoning symptoms
